Several types of rubber products and rubber tyres of vehicles are exposed to change due to the course of time, weather conditions or any other impacts. Changing in properties might be caused by differing factors like temperature, steam and other hot materials but oxygen, ozone or freezing are main reasons of cracking and ageing of products. Cross-links are being dissolved, polymer-chain is being degraded hence the product becomes too soft. In default whereof, de-vulcanization process makes the rubber harder, easy-to-break. Ageing process induced by ozone can be prevented or

decreased by the application of anti-ozone wax, our Plastowax-R400 or Plastowax-R420 type. Considering its mechanism, the wax is getting in reaction with the ozone or the decomposed product due to the ozone, at the surface of rubber product. Apart from helping in diffusion process, the wax material itself has a protection effect, creating film on rubber surface thus closing it from oxygen and ozone, however, sole usage of wax under extreme preassure is not enough.

Plastowax-R200 line contains products as emollients,inner sliders and lubrications for NR, BR, CR, NBR, SBR, EPDM rubbers.




During our everyday-life we meet rubber even without realizing their presence. But rubber, as final product, is not only the rubber (caoutchouk) itself, rubber contains crosslinking materials that make the rubber more flexible, even different metals and textiles as well. Additional necessary materials are:

  • filling compounds and emollients

  • anti-ageing additives (ozone-protection)

  • auxiliary materials
